Living in uncertainty
Uncertainty has been a theme in a not only my life, my family’s life (not to mention in the world at large) since the pandemic.
The tectonic shifts that happened then have been like a extended earthquake through the cosmos, changing everything seemingly leaving us all on shaky ground.
This year my hubby quit his corporate job that he had been in for 18 years. My kids are graduating, one from college and one from high school, and each stressing in their own way about the path their lives will take. On the surface my life looks the same, but my internal life has changed dramatically. When will my external reality catch up?
As weeks turn into months turn into years. I wonder. Will change come and what will it looks like?
All I know is that in my life big change takes time, it helps to enjoy where you are, even if you feel stuck and nothing is moving, and that uncertainty is where the magic happens.
While our brains and egos freak out that something bad is going to happen, what if everything is happening according to a divine plan and all we need to do is put ourselves out there and follow our intuitive impulses.
If we knew everything would work out impossibly well according to divine timing. Would we relax and could we enjoy where we are even though we know change is coming?
I do not know, but this is what I am working on. Trust, courage and patience.
